"You’re Right Here explores the interface between friendships and communication in our virtual world.
(What’s that mean?)
Ultimately, it’s something about being far away and feeling near. Holding onto our friendships, creating deeper intimacy even, via our many newfangled gadgets".

3 channel video poem. Ways Of About Normal was created using chance procedures to determine the content. The content comes from all the video I have shot up to now. The process was done 3 times. Then all three 3 channel pieces were layered on top of each other. Inspired by my studies of John Cage and Zen.

Richard Rioux July 4, 1926 - July 11, 1995. Created and performed 2007. Mikey Rioux, Misha Kaschock, Violette Tucker
A document of a performance/ritual/improvisation created as a wake for my Grandfather.
The ritual is simple, dance blindfolded, take a shot of vodka every two minutes.
(the sound did not record so unfortunately you do not get to hear the wonderful Misha Kaschock play flute. I could have added sound but I thought I would leave it silent. I thought it would be fun for you to watch it with whatever sound you please, or just watch it silently.)
